The Americans with Disabilities Act requires public facilities
to provide assistive listening systems in a public setting. Drake’s
ALT72 consists of quality, commercial-grade hardware that meets
ADA requirements. The ALT72 utilizes the FCC designated assistive
listening frequencies for hearing participants in schools, theaters,
houses of worship, auditoriums, and other public facilities.

most flexible assistive listening system for both installers and
users. It is superior to hard-wired or infrared systems which
have severe limitations for outdoor use or applications requiring

audio systems without requiring structural modifications to the
facility or special seating for a certain number of users.

The Drake ALT72 is a state-of-the-art assistive listening system. Background noise and poor acoustics can interfere with traditional audio systems, preventing the hearing impaired from fully participating in the presentation or program. The Drake ALT72 provides crystal-clear reception of audio, enabling even the hearing impaired better than front row audio participation.
The Complete Assistive Listening System
The ALT72 system includes one transmitter and two pocket-sized
MR306A personal receivers with dual earbuds. Dual earbuds provide
maximum amount of clear audio to the listener. Additional receivers
are reasonably priced and sold separately to accommodate any size
audience.
It’s As Easy As 1-2-3
Drake designed the ALT72 assistive listening system to be rugged,
and with the operator and user in mind. The system is easier to
use than any home stereo. Just set the transmitter to any of 10
channels, select the same channel on the personal receivers, and
your message is heard by everyone. The pocket-sized personal receivers
offer the same simplicity of operation as a pocket radio, plus
a lock feature to prevent the user from accidentally changing
the channel setting.
