The Drake MR306A Personal Receiver is a lightweight portable FM broadcast receiver. Weighing less than 3.5 ounces, this pocket-sized receiver can be worn inconspicuously and allows the user to move freely. The personal receiver includes comfortable earbuds that provide the audio quality of speakers many times their size. The MR306A Personal Receiver also has a built-in speaker allowing the user to listen to broadcasts without the accompanying earbuds. Unlike many receivers used for assistive listening or audio monitoring, the MR306A Personal Receiver receives in either monaural or stereo modes. The MR306A Personal Receiver is simple to operate. A large thumbwheel provides easy adjustment of volume, while frequency selection is made via push button control. The MR306A Personal Receiver covers 72.0 to 88.0 MHz for coverage of the assistive listening band. Receive frequencies are stored in the receiver’s five programmable memories, allowing easy recall of frequently used frequencies. And the MR306A Personal Receiver has a "lock" feature to prevent the user from accidentally changing receiver settings. You need not worry about the MR306A Personal Receiver losing power during your event. It can operate continuously for over 30 hours on two "AAA" batteries, and features a low battery indicator for timely battery replacement. |
